April Event: Bed of Bags Service Project
We will be making “plarn” for plastic mats for the homeless! We are blessed to have Bed of Bags come to talk with us about her journey in recycling plastic bags to make mats for the homeless. This event is most applicable to ages 5 and up.

About The Event
Bed of Bags makes plastic mats for the homeless out of recycled plastic bags!! At this event, you will be able to learn how she began this labor of love and she will teach us how to repurpose plastic bags into "plarn" or plastic yarn that she will use to crochet into mats. For those that are interested, she will also teach us how to crochet the plarn! If you have plastic bags at home that you would like to repurpose, please bring them! We would love for you to wear your KindCraft shirts to this event! Don't have one? You can pre-order one and pick it up at the event!
