About The Event

We will be assembling blessing bags including shampoo, conditioner, underwear, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, hair brushes, fingernail clippers, washcloths, and chapstick. You can help by donating supplies and helping us pack the bags!

The blessing bags that you put together will be donated to Be Heartfelt. Be Heartfelt is a 501(c) 3 non-profit charity serving kids and youth locally and globally. They focus on breaking the cycle of poverty by loving, teaching, and serving. They do this through home visits, life skills teaching, feeding, hygiene and gift program.

KindCraft is happy to support their blessing bag program! Be Heartfelt will be traveling to Guam in 2023 and are in need of blessing bags for children who are experiencing homelessness, and/or are in need. The children they visit are often living out of a car or a tin shack with no running water or electricity.

They will be passing out blessing bags, and reminding the kids of how special they are. They have done this for the past 5 years and find the children, youth and their parents are welcoming and appreciative. By helping children with this basic need we are showing them that there is a community of people who care about them and their circumstances.

We know that the contents in the blessing bags help give children dignity. It helps them also avoid being rejected or bullied by peers when going to school. It allows them to hold their heads high; and be better prepared to learn. It allows teen job seekers the ability to look their best and find success for themselves and for their families.

Families living on the edge financially are now able to have basic hygiene products for their children and can breathe a sigh of relief.

This will be a great event for families, scouts, sports teams, and anyone who wants to learn about helping others and kindness.

KindCraft will need supplies donated for this event as well as Student Ambassador Volunteers.
